  The Singing Gospelaires have been singing for more than twenty five years. Delores Burton, and her sister Ella Fowler, along with their sister-in-law  Brenda McCown started the group with the name "Trinity Trio" in the early 70's. They sung together for about four years and also made their first album. Brenda left the group to go with her husband who felt the call to preach the gospel. Delores, Ella and their younger brother continued the group but changed the name to "The Singing Gospelaires."          They sung together for several years  before Brenda was lead to come back to the group after their brother decided to leave.They now have been  together for more than ten years, putting out  four more recordings and seven national releases to radio, charting in the top ten on several stations through out the country.One of their songs made it on the charts of the Singing News Magazine.                 They have been nominated and won two awards out of Nashville TN. making it in the news of their local News papers. When talking with this trio about their accomplishments their reply was "the only thing we feel is important is to get the message out that Jesus saves and he is coming soon."  I guess that says it all and they are now singing the good news more than ever! ! ! !
